Description
Fuzzless and fruitful. Expect up to 100 lbs. of kiwis each season from this vigorous female climber! Requires a strong trellis to bear the weight of all that fruit. Eat these wonderful little honey-scented jewels fresh, as you would a large grape, or turn them into preserves, fruit tarts or pies. Kids love puréed kiwi frozen into summer popsicles. A sweet but healthy treat! High in vitamin C, folate and potassium. Extremely cold-hardy, even well below zero. Disease- and pest-resistant, also tolerates part-shade. Ripens in September. Best pollinator: Hardy Kiwi Pollinator
