Description
A dual-purpose, precocious apple. Fruit stores well and is also suitable for fresh-eating, salads, desserts, and baking. Crisp, fine-grained fruits have a sweet-tart, white flesh — one of the best pie apples. Compact trees bloom early and large-sized fruit ripens late. A Jonathan x Wagener cross. Cold-hardy. Ripens in October. Pollinator required: Choose another apple variety. See Recommended Pollinators below.

One of my favorite apples.
husband's favorite
standard size - not many options for that - and good keeper, good in sauces/pies, and decent to eat plain.
Is a compact tree and the many ways I can use the apple.
