An easy-care, improved McIntosh! The fruit is aromatic with tangy, tender flesh iconic of its parent. A compact, yet heavy-bearing tree. Disease-resistant to apple scab, powdery mildew, cedar apple rust, and fire blight. Originates from Ottawa, Ontario in 1963. Cold-hardy. Ripens in late September.
