A handsome, high-quality apple. Tree is vigorous and bears medium-to-large sized, bright golden fruit with gorgeous red striping. Flesh is crisp with a delicate flavor and delightful aftertaste. Ideal for fresh eating as well as baking. Keeps well in proper storage. Said to be a superior, more complex, offspring of its Golden Delicious and Northern Spy parentage. Cold-hardy.
