Description
One of the finest old-fashioned apples. Tree bears large, late-season, fruit with a smooth yellow skin flushed with red. Flesh is yellow and sweet — great for eating fresh and no sugar needed when baking! Antique variety, originates from New Jersey, circa 1800s. Also called King of Tompkins County. Cold-hardy. Ripens in early October. Pollinator required: Choose another apple variety. See Recommended Pollinators below.
