Plant tree in an 18- to 24-inch container or a small sunny space in your yard. In colder zones, provide winter protection (e.g. bring containers indoors; mulching over roots). Cold-hardy. Freestone. Developed in Merced, California, introduced in 1981. Ripens in early August. Self-pollinating.
