Sweetstar® Peach Tree
Description
The sweetest of all “Stellar” peaches, a farm-market favorite. Larger than Allstar®, and even sweeter than Coralstar®. A reliable producer that is often grown in commercial orchards for its consistent cropping and outstanding storage qualities. A beautifully colored, deep-red 3” peach with delicious, melting orange-yellow flesh that is firm and full of natural sugars. Shows some resistance to bacterial spot. Freestone. Ripens in August. Self-pollinating, but yields bigger crops when planted near a different peach variety with a similar bloom time. May be covered by USPP #21,145 or other patents.
