Are these grafted on to dwarf rootstock?

I don’t believe so. We, of course had no fruit last year, but this year, we did get new leaves but no flowers yet. So not sure if we will get fruit this year. And yes, we did feed appropriately. Good luck!

They could possibly work for pollination but the bloom times would need to be the same.

Little tiny plums I can't wait
Bought this little tree two years ago and planted in a cold north eastern environment (zone 6). It is very happy and apparently very hardy, because there are two tiny little plums in May. So exciting! I can't wait for this baby to grow! Great product.

My plum blossomed this spring and has leafed out. Surprising it survived the wettest cold winter here in N NV. Have been very happy with quality of plants.

Performance of Elephant Heart Plum in SW Idaho
I planted my tree in 2015. It did not grow much because we were in drought, with irrigation-water shortages. The tree is growing far better this year because of a good water supply and moderate spring temperatures. I've eaten Elephant Heart from a tree in Emmett, ID and know how good the fruit is, also that it can keep in the refrigerator till Christmas if properly stored. The cultivar appears to be well adapted to our location--there is a bearing tree of it next door that is about 10-15 years old. My tree is in the 1-1/4 acre commercial orchard that I planted.
