Description
The craft brewer’s delight! Vigorous, easy-to-harvest bines yield moderate crops of compact, medium-size cones. Prized for bittering qualities and aromatic characteristics. Flavor is described as spicy with strong pine taste and grapefruit notes. Useful in many home-brew recipes, including American pale ales, stouts, porters, and lagers. Maintains alpha acid content for up to 6 months in proper storage. Disease-resistant to verticillium wilt and downy mildew. Mulch in winter for protection. Originates from Washington State and introduced in 1985. Ripens in August.
