Description
Turn your backyard into a hop yard. Typically grown on a string trellis, these lush green climbers are a vigorous bine with utility in the home landscape. Yields pale greenish-yellow female flowers, or cones, which bloom in late summer. Used as a bittering agent in brewing and also enjoyed for herbal aroma qualities. Plant bare-root rhizomes 6" deep. Mulch in winter for protection. Ripens starting in August.

Medicinal herb garden
Need a sunny side of house arbor covered by a fast growing climber. Google research shows this is a good hearty fast grower. I am using for regimentation only. Wisconsin zoned (5). Said to smell nice.…
