BEST ANSWER: These should grow larger than scallions if they are in soft, well-fertilized soil. Do you have heavy clay? That could be an issue.

Best Onions
Copra onions are the best onions for storing. They have great flavor! Store them in a cool place and use them for months.

These are great onions overall
These are great keepers. Good large size and full bodied flavor as well. We always have enough left in storage to last until new crop is ready
