Why did you choose this?
Stark Bro's Store
I've tried this brand of potatoes and enjoy the taste. Since the Colorado potato beetle is so prevalent in this area, I read where it can be planted earlier and will ripen before the beetles destroy the crop.

Planted this type 2 years ago and they produced fair sized potatoes that did keep well. Wasn't as happy with my choice of white potato last year

How many plants do you get from each start?
Laura Y on May 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: As an average, in 1 pound of seed potatoes, you will receive from 5 to 8 tubers. If grown in well-balanced, nutrient-rich soil, potatoes typically produce on a 1:10 ratio of "pounds of seed planted" to "pounds of potato crop harvested".
