Not Sure about the difference, but the ones I ordered from Stark Bros are
the best Roses ever, and I have ordered all colors and ordered the Collection, they all grow like crazy and put out a lot of roses.
I live in Phoenix , AZ and the knockouts I planted thrive in full sun. The ones I planted along a wall which were more shaded didn't do as well. They bloomed, but never got full and pretty. The ones planted in full sun got full and bushy and are prolific bloomers. I recommend you don't plant them in a shady area.
They are shrubs. Mine are budding right now. Very beautiful roses. Hope you enjoy yours as much as me if you decide to buy them. Wish I could post a pic for you on here. I just took one two days ago.
Those are thorny roses.
Early in the Spring, I believe deer did nimble a little, I had deer eat several of my perennials and the rabbits have enjoyed the smorgasbord. First time ever had hosta eaten.
I got a bunch of these roses, and the range from 3-5 feet tall. I have had them for several years, and they are all doing great.
We appreciate you reaching out to us. Because weather and soil conditions vary so much from year to year and even within your zone, it's best to think of your planting time as a range of favorable conditions instead of an exact time.
You can plant new plants and trees:
1) when the ground is not frozen.
2) when daytime temperatures are above freezing (32ºF) and below 90ºF.
3) when extreme weather (blizzard, hail, torrential rain, etc.) is not in the forecast. Be sure to keep plants watered if you're transplanting in warm and/or dry weather.
If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. Have a great day!
