Great price/deal. Stark products have done well for us. We're not skeptical of ordering from Stark. Prices at the big name hardware stores are ridiculous, and they lack in variety. This deal saved us around 80 dollars, at least. Thanks

will this roses bloom if the are in a shady area?
Rick R on Apr 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I live in Phoenix , AZ and the knockouts I planted thrive in full sun. The ones I planted along a wall which were more shaded didn't do as well. They bloomed, but never got full and pretty. The ones planted in full sun got full and bushy and are prolific bloomers. I recommend you don't plant them in a shady area.

Double Knowcout Collection
The collection may be very nice but the plants that were shiopped were so tiny that they have not produced any flowers after a year. Hopefully this year I will see some blooms.

The BEST roses ever!
We planted 9 of these in May last year around the base of our deck, we used the rose food from Stark and we added a soaker hose to the flowerbed, they did well. This past winter we covered them so the snow would not break them. When we uncovered them they were perfect. They have grown so much we staked and tied them. They went from sweet small plants to 3-4ft plants in one year. They are very healthy and very pretty the red, yellow and pink colors are beautiful. We did and will spray them with fungicide to make sure they do not get black spot or the blight.

When I first receive my shipment, I was a little taken back by how small they actually were. Most were about 4 inches tall. I prepped the ground with mulch and a small amount of fertilizer and planted them. I watered them and waited. I didn't have to wait long as by July they were starting to take off and start blooming. I pinched off the flower buds as I wanted to encourage strong growth, but by August, I couldn't keep up and just let them bloom. They continued to grow and bloom until a heavy frost in October and by then they were 2' tall and 2' wide. Very pleased and highly recommended.

A Better Gift Than Cut Flowers
We send these to our Mother every holiday instead of cut flowers. She loves them. She is trying to line her whole, long driveway. They need no maintenance, and bloom profusely all summer long. She gets many compliments and praise for her beautiful roses. I forgot to order in time for Mother's Day. They were supposed to arrive on Tuesday after, but Stark made it happen and she got them the Saturday before. I was delighted with that.

Found a GREAT Rose for a particular situation
This rose has performed wonderfully in the place it was selected for! It is able to 'take care of itself' with little additional tending by me. The placement was on an embankment of terraced garden plots along the road front. The plot it was placed in is one that is difficult to get to regularly (yes, poor design of the garden, but that is a topic for another day). It looks like it gets tended to regularly, even though that is the farthest thing from the truth. If you like roses, but can't tend to them, or have had trouble with roses in the past, THIS IS THE ROSE FOR YOU!

Love the double knock outs!
Received the bare root plants in good condition. I purchased 2 dozen of them and each one has thrived. This will be the third summer of enjoying them. They are beautiful and bloom all summer until the snow falls. I highly recommend them.
