Do Knock Out Roses have thorns?

Yep, lots of them nd they are kitten claws -- very small and sharp! But I agree that the benefits of having such a trouble free prolific bloomer way outweighs the minor annoyance of the thorns.

Where are your retail locations?

We have just one retail location, and that is in Louisiana, MO. The street address is 11523 Highway NN, which is at the intersection of West Georgia Street.

Is this rose variety safe for culinary use?

Yes they are safe for consumption.

Can you send to Washington state?

Please input your zipcode on our zone finder, if the product is restricted it will show prohibited.

Are the roses potted or bare root?

These are potted varieties.

Does this rose have a scent? How strong?

rainbow knock out has a mild but pleasant smell. The vibrant colors and persistent blooms through out the season make this a go to rose for me. When my other roses have called it quits, rainbow puts up another show

Deer resistant?

They are not deer resistant but our unprotected knock out roses have been untouched so far. Our pansies were not so fortunate. They became a deer buffet overnight.

Are these deer resistant?

Not sure since they are planted within a fenced area and not accessible to deer. Hope this helps.

Do these have nectar and pollen for honey bees?

Knock Out Roses (Rosa "Radrazz") have many worthy attributes, but they will not attract bees to your garden. Although bees visit colorful flowers, it's the pollen and flower nectar that cause them to return to a plant. Knock Out roses are hybridized and do not produce high levels of nectar.

Nice Colorful Addition To Other Stark Roses I Have
Planted the Rainbow in a pot for a few months and saw prolific growth with a few early blooms that are similar to the Coral rose blooms. Just before we started getting more rain this summer in central Alabama, I planted the Rainbow in the yard with my other roses. It is still only about a foot and a half tall but is again putting out blossoms. Healthy plant.

Rainbow Knockout
This is a hard to find variety and well worth growing.

These were very healthy, vigorous cuttings that I planted directly into the garden. Within a week they were blooming. The babies are coming through the winter in great shape. I am very happy.
