I love Roses. We are rated a zone 5 like this rose but I've always gardened as if we were a zone 4 because it's so cold and we are so far north of most of the rest of the zone 5 world and our weather is so extremely different. I am hoping this one will survive for me to enjoy.

I tried one, and in a year it turned into a beautiful, hardy plant - better than my other roses.
John H on Feb 1, 2019
I liked the color. I ordered trees from Stark a few years ago and they grew so fast and are nice trees so I figured Stark's roses would be as nice.

I have had red Double Knock Out Roses for years and love them. I am getting ready to plant a long border at the outer edge of my property between my neighbor and I and wanted to use ornamental grass and mix pink Knock Out Roses to go with Purple blooms on the grass. I believe it will add beauty to both properties. Also very low maintenance. Love that part also.

How fast will these grow? I want to plant as a background hedge along the front of my house. I see they are olny 4" pots, so how long before they are big enough, say at least 2' high?
Kate R on Nov 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They grow very quickly, and should be at least 2' high by the end of their first growing season.
is 5b suitable for planting and which knockout rose has the strongest floral scent?
carol ann g on Jul 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This rose is suitable for Zones 5-9, which includes 5b. Sunny is the most fragrant Knock Out rose.
Is it a good idea to clip off the spent blooms when they are done blooming?
Carol H on May 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: That is true with many rose varieties, but one of the great benefits of Knock Out roses is that deadheading is not necessary.
We transferred into TN from the north. Are these likely to thrive in TN clay and 90 degree heat/humidity?
Jordan W on Jan 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi and yes you can't ask for a better rose. I live in the south also and it gets 90-100 degrees here and my roses love it. Only problem you might have is Japanese beetles love roses in the south. So I just spray them regularly to spot the beetles from eating my babies up lol. I love this rose bush. They grow fast and are very beautiful! They came to me shipped in a very nice secure box with pretty rose buds on them and some had already gotten a flower smile. The soil was rich and moist. Very great company to buy from.
Do these roses set hips in the fall?
Kim T on Jun 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They do set hips, but they are not very showy, and I usually trim them off to ensure more blooms next year
Will this grow okay in clay soil in a park strip area?
Susan M on Oct 20, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Unlike the long-stemmed hybrid tea roses grown for cut flowers, Knockouts are shrubby and can be used on their own in even the most difficult spot, so I do suggest giving them a try.
Any other colors?
Barbara T on Oct 20, 2020
BEST ANSWER: It depends on inventory if the other colors are available. Once you go to the website and type in Knock out roses, all the available colors will appear.
are you sending the plant or seed?
Alice M on Sep 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Alice, This is a great question. Our roses are sold as plants in a 4" pot. They ship approximately 4 - 6 inches tall. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach back out to us, remember that we're here for you. Have a great day!
How tall are the plants in the 4 inch pots?
Deborah S on Jun 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: 4-5 inches tall.
Do these roses have a nice scent? Thank you!
A N on Jan 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Somewhat of a scent but not strong. Knock out roses are bred for disease resistance more than fragrance. Still a nice addition to your landscape!
If a tree has been neglected bad enough for a tree limb to have died (not enough Iron in the ground) What is the best way to support the tree? (cut off the limb?, give it plenty of iron? and water and wait?)

Love these roses. We ordered 4 of them 2 years ago. They get more beautiful each year. They have been very hardy (survived a very harsh winter by Ohio standards their first year) and just keep growing. We love them so much we just ordered more.

Love my Pink Double Knock Out Roses
I have approximately 100 Knock Out Roses that I have purchased from Stark Brothers both Pink Double and Red Knock Out Roses. They are so beautiful. I have found they grow in both sun and shade preferring a little afternoon shade where I live. The are easy care and maintenance, have not had any problems with diseases or insects and they are beautiful. I will be buying more.

Awesome rose bush!
I tell ya what, this rose bush is soooooo beautiful and my neighbors love to s look at them and smell the nice aroma that they give off. I love it more thou lol. To start with when i got them in the mail they were fast in shipping and they came in great shape and well protected. They took off like rocket's when i put them in the ground. I just couldn't believe how fast they came up. I did water them every other day just a lil bit. This is my second season with them in my yard and they are car stoppers! Everyone loves my double knockouts. If i ever sale my home i am digging these up and carrying them with me lol.

Tough, with good flower production
This plant has great in not so great conditions. Threw blossoms the first season planted. This year it took some some heavy hits with late freezes, and has bounced back, and is loaded with pretty red blossoms. My wife is very impressed. If it can grow well in the "arctic" high desert in central Oregon, it should grow anywhere. I also bought red knockout roses and the review is the same. Good products.

These are "easy-care" roses
Very little needs to be done, other than watering these beautiful hardy roses.
Once established, they will reward you with glorious, beautiful pink blossoms which will repeat with just a little trimming. I intend to buy more (I ordered eight) when I have their new "bed" ready to go. Another important feature is that they arrived as sturdy and healthy plants.

Loving my care-free roses!
I built the bed just like I learned, ordered the roses, kept them watered until I could get them in the ground. Once planted, 2 didn't survive the summer but Stark's happily replaced them. They have now been in the ground not quite a year, have quadrupled in size and continuously produce beautiful blooms without any care other than a bit of water IF my other plants are needing water. I love the Knock Out roses and Stark's is a company that has earned my trust!
