Description
One of the sweetest and best-yielding corns. Kernels are a deep maize color — tender, sweet and very uniform. Buhl has a wonderful, old-fashioned sweet-corn taste that has been lost by the hybridization of so many varieties. Pick sweet corn when the kernels contain milky juice; clear juice means the ears are immature, and chewiness means the ear is past its prime. Very vigorous plants are low maintenance and easy to grow, great for beginners. Buhl is consistently voted a favorite by wildlife ... fence it or fight for it!
