Description
Perhaps the best multi-purpose bean around. Save space with this wax-type bush-type bean, which produces a lot in a little space! This famous Dutch heirloom has an incomparable flavor, and the pretty yellow pods have dramatic purple streaks which are striking in the garden and on the plate. Treat it as a fresh snap bean, or let it mature and enjoy shelled beans, which are light brown with dark mottling.
