Description
A stunning red-leafed tree. Upright, spreading, and slightly rounded form. Crimson buds yield to long-lasting, bright pink-red single blooms. Foliage creates impact with gorgeous burgundy color that matures to red-tinged green. Bark carries the theme with an attractive reddish tint. Fruit is small and dark red – an excellent food source for wildlife! Cold-hardy. Disease-resistant to scab, cedar apple rust, and mildew. Matures to be 20-25' tall and wide.

Beautiful tree!
I just planted the Prairifire Flowering Crabapple tree early this spring and couldn't be happier with the quality of this tree right from the time it was received on my doorstep. Shipping was great, the tree arrived in excellent condition, well packed and larger than I expected. I got it planted, fertilized, mulched and protected from the deer and it is already producing beautiful pink flowers just a few short months after being planted.

Love it!!
The Prairifire Flowering Crabapple is doing just great. We have had it 1 year. It started to flower this spring and then more freezing temperatures. I was worried it would not make it, but when the weather finally warmed up to stay, the tree stared growing like crazy. Hopefully next year the weather will be better and we can enjoy the flowers. Would highly recommend it and Stark Brothers.

The most stunning spring time tree!!!
I have bought several Prairie Fire crab apples over the years and I can honestly say they are my favorite. The bright hot pink blooms are stunning in the spring, the dark leaves are a nice contrast during the summer and in winter the bright red apples are beautiful until the birds eat them all (turkeys love them).

Flowering Crab
The little tree has leafed out and seems to be getting a good start. We will see what next spring looks like.
I expect it to fit perfectly in my landscape
