About the All-in-One Almond Tree

Grow your own heart-healthy almonds with the All-in-One Almond Tree. This versatile tree, originating in 1945, brings the classic flavor of California almonds right to your backyard. Developed by Floyd Zaiger, it’s known for its compact size and prolific yield, making it perfect for small spaces and home orchards.

The All-in-One Almond Tree is a self-fertile variety, so it doesn’t need pollination partners, simplifying the growing process. With a chilling requirement of 300-500 hours, it starts bearing fruit in just 3-4 years and can produce approximately 25-40 lbs. of nuts per tree at full maturity. Plus, it boasts a lifespan of 40-50 years under proper conditions.

Ideal for USDA Zones 5-9, this heat-tolerant tree blooms in late spring, transitioning to a bountiful harvest of sweet nuts in early fall. Its compact size makes it an excellent choice for gardens of any size, bringing beauty and productivity to even the tightest spaces.

Experience the joy of homegrown almonds while saving space with the All-in-One Almond Tree. Add it to your landscape today and enjoy fresh, delicious almonds for years to come!

Tree received in awesome condition
Received my Bareroot almond tree, late spring, in a well packed box. Roots were long and hardy, kept moist with wet strips of cloth or paper(I forget which). Planted tree and it is doing amazing. Hot summer here and it is thriving with water of course. Can't wait for next spring to see new growth and blossoms,

Great Trees
The tree came in looking great. The leaves are however only on the bottom half of the branches so I'm hoping for a healthy tree. I have ordered with Starks many times and have only had one tree that they have had to replace. Their trees are always top quality. I'm sure this one will look great too. Not sure if I need to prune the tops of the limbs that aren't producing leaves or not. Once again, they are amazing to work with and on the one tree that didn't make it, they were super quick and courteous to replace it.

Beautiful and Productive
Planted an AllInOne Almond about 8 years ago. It has matured into a stunning ornamental tree. Neighbors comment every spring about how beautiful it it. Even better, it produces an abundance of almonds so much tastier than store-bought. Not the biggest nuts, but never had almonds with so much flavor. The tree does need a little TLC to avoid leaf curl and other fungal/insect issues but is worth the effort.

It grows in North Texas!
I wasn’t sure this was going to grow here in North Texas (Dallas) as we are in some 8A but summers can be hot and humid followed by 2-3 months without rain (jul-sep). Not only did it grow, but I got Almonds after the second year. I still have to water it by hand (restrictions) daily about 2 months out of the year but each spring it has these beautiful pink blooms and smells wonderful. It’s going into year 5 now and very well established. Am thinking of adding another.

growing well
ordered in 2017; it is now 2020 and both of the trees I ordered are doing well; I watered until established the first year and occasionally since, particularly in the heat of summer; I was worried about animal damage but so far these two don't seem to be a target for animals in my are (MD) like other trees in my yard; I am waiting a bit longer before starting to prune much
