Yes, Bonide Infuse is generally safe for use on grapevines, but it’s important to follow the label directions carefully. Bonide Infuse contains the active ingredient propiconazole, which is a systemic fungicide used to control various fungal diseases.
Key Points to Consider:
Timing: Apply the fungicide during the growing season when conditions are favorable for disease development. It's typically used to prevent and treat diseases like powdery mildew, black rot, and downy mildew on grapevines.
Dosage: Ensure you apply the correct amount as per the label instructions. Over-application can lead to phytotoxicity (damage to the plants).
Re-Entry Interval (REI): Observe the recommended re-entry interval, which is the time required after application before you can safely handle the plants.
Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): Follow the pre-harvest interval guidelines, which indicate how long you should wait between the last application and when you harvest the grapes.
Safety: Always wear appropriate protective gear when applying fungicides and ensure the product does not drift onto non-target plants.
If you adhere to these guidelines, Bonide Infuse should be a safe and effective option for managing fungal diseases on your grapevines.
