Sometimes, Depends on where you plant them. I put a chain link fence around mine 6 feet tall 15'x12' makes a wonderful berry patch.

Can I plant these in the fall in ohio?

We appreciate you reaching out to us. Because weather and soil conditions vary so much from year to year and even within your zone, it's best to think of your planting time as a range of favorable conditions instead of an exact time.

You can plant new plants and trees:
1) when the ground is not frozen.
2) when daytime temperatures are above freezing (32ºF) and below 90ºF.
3) when extreme weather (blizzard, hail, torrential rain, etc.) is not in the forecast. Be sure to keep plants watered if you're transplanting in warm and/or dry weather.

If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. Have a great day!

Are they seedless too?

I am sorry no these are not seedless.

The plants arrived in a timely manner and were all healthy and vibrant. Instructions for planting were included. The plants I purchased were potted and are currently planted and doing well. So far, so good! The issue I don't care for from Stark Bros is once you purchase, you get and extreme amount of emai! I don't mind an occasional sales catalog but you get several a day! So, unsubscribe and when I need something, I go online again.

Excellent Customer Support!
We purchased the combined pack of three blackberry plants, "All Summer Long Blackberry plant Collection". Unfortunately, one of the plants did not arrive in great condition. Rough handling during delivery could have been an issue. I called the Starkbros customer Service line to report the unhealthy plant. The Starkbros rep informed me the replacement plant would not be ready to ship at NO CHARGE for a couple months. I told the rep that I would plant the unhealthy Blackberry in hopes it would survive. The customer Service rep agreed and informed me that another plant would ship automatically. Surprisingly the sick plant did survive is now thriving and Starkbros has shipped the replacement. The Starkbros support is beyond expectation!

Nice plants but a bit small upon arrival
They arrived small but healthy and were transplanted into their own containers. They're covered with hay mulch and overwintering outside? can't wait until spring to get them in the ground!!

So. Many. Blackberries.
I was a little worried the first year I planted these, because the Arapahos took off like a shot, while I lost some Chesters and Triple Crowns and they languished compared to the vigor of the Arapaho plants. This year—the second year—they have literally exploded. They’ve all put out tons of flowers and fruit, and are sending up huge, healthy canes for next year. As promised they have flowered at different times for a staggered harvest, and some of them even flower in pink! Couldn’t be happier with these plants.

1st time trying Blackberries!
The second year is showing signs to be a great crop with minimal work to maintain. We are getting ready to move and will certainly order again for the new home.
