You can start by potting it up to a one gallon pot, and then successively larger pots as the roots begin to touch the edges of the pot's inside walls.

How large of a container will Blueberry Glaze ultimately need?

Blueberry bushes have shallow roots, so you will only ultimately need a container that is 12-18" deep and at least that size in diameter.

Planted them last year and got berries the size of very small peas. This year the squirrels got them all before the berries totally formed, so I don’t know if they would have gotten bigger as the plant matured.

Quick to fruit!
A few came with ready blueberries on them, which was exciting! They're happy with the natural rainfall I get, and pleased with extra watering too. I've gotten a handful of berries scattered over some months, I'm sure I'll get more as they grow! The berries are very small, which was exactly what I wanted.

Picked berries off of my new plant!
I can not believe this plant arrived with blueberry fruit already growing. I was sure they would fall off from the stress of shipping. Imagine my surprise when 2 weeks later I was picking actual ripe berries. The berries were small but they were full of flavorful juice. I popped the first one right in my mouth and it burst into a delicious squirt of blueberry flavor! I could not be happier with this plant and my unexpected berry harvest right away. While my experience is not typical, every single bushel and berry plant I have ordered and planted has arrived perfectly and has taken immediately to putting out new growth. Highly recommend.

Pretty and productive
This is a compact bush with shiny green leaves, very attractive. I planted in spring and I got blueberries this year! The berries are small, a bit sour and a very dark blue.

Blueberry Glaze
This bush has survived well our unusual weather--hundred degree days and a week long freeze. I have very happy with it.

Easy keeper, many berries
I have 2 of these from Starks, planted in wooden barrel-like pots (Tractor Supply). They produced berries the first year, and even more this year (2nd year). The berries are tiny, like wild blueberries in Maine. They have grown very well / doubled in size, using mostly peat mixed with some potting soil and tiny bit of aged manure. Berries aren't ripe yet, but hope they are tasty.

surviving but not producing
First summer had healthy leaves but stayed less than a foot tall and in diameter. No flowering or berries. This summer they are about a foot high but still no berries. I have other brands and versions elsewhere in same conditions on my property that are flourishing. Not sure how many years I have to wait til these do something. Plants are adequately watered, fed, and protected from animals.

Survived only one season.
I planted the plant in a pot using a potting mixture recommended by a local nursery here in Denver. The plant did well last summer on our deck. I kept the potted plant in the garage over the winter on my workbench near a window. When it started to put on fresh leaves this spring, I moved it to my greenhouse, and occasionally put it outside on nice days. We had a really windy day, and the new growth was damaged. It never recovered.

blueberry plants
I am sad to say that I ordered 2 plants last year and only one survived. There were 4 tiny blueberry blossoms and now they are gone, probably due to birds, which is my fault for not netting them.It still makes me sad that one plant died.I ordered 2 because I thought they would compliment each other.

Didn't do well
This is the only one of several pot-grown berry plants I purchased that didn't do well. It never really took off here in Oregon and didn't make it through our unusually hard winter.
