Description

New Product!

This unique blueberry is becoming very popular because its foliage resembles Eucalyptus. It also produces very large, sweet, pineapple flavored berries! The leaves have hints of silver throughout the spring and early summer. In the fall, its leaves turn a deep emerald green shade. The Silver Dollar™ would be a stunning show for a sunny patio or garden. Ripens in July and again in October. Self-pollinating. May be covered by USPP #32,184 or other patents. ‘ZF06-089’ cultivar.

Mature Size

When your plant matures, it will be approximately 2 - 3' tall x 2 - 3' wide.

Recommended Spacing

We recommend spacing these plants 3 - 4' apart to ensure room for growth.

Pollination

This variety is self pollinating.

In many cases, you may still want to plant pollinating partners to increase the size of your crops, but with self-pollinating varieties doing so is optional. You'll get fruit with only one plant!

I already have 3 plants of this particular variety from another online retailer from the fall of last year, and this variety is one the most fastest growing blueberry plants I've grown so far recommended for my zone.

I have an plan to buy this silver dollar and pink icing plant. Do you think these are suitable for pollination?
EILEEN O on Jan 22, 2021
BEST ANSWER: We appreciate you reaching out to us. Blueberries are self pollinating and do not require another variety to bear fruit. However planting a second variety will increase your crop yield.
