Six Plant Blueberry Collection
Description
Blueberries for every taste. Antioxidant-rich blueberry varieties have subtle differences in taste, from sweet-tart to deep and rich. They’ll produce like champions if you plant them in soil with a pH between 4.5 and 5.0; neutral soil is the reason blueberries fail to thrive. While blueberries are self-pollinating, the other varieties will serve to give you an abundance of fruit.

Still happy
The Blueray and Sweetheart plants (2 each) have been thriving well the first year. However, the Hebert blueberries struggled to grow and both died off within 6 months. I am looking forward to loads of berries from the 4 plants that survived.

Okay - maybe wrong climate
The collection was nice as it saved money over buying individually. I suspect, however, that blueberries just aren't going to do well in my climate. They are scrawny little things after 2 winters and one summer. This spring only 5 of the 6 plants leafed out, and one of them will probably die soon given how poorly it leafed out.

Blueberry plants
Two of the six plants did not survive the winter. No growth of the root system. Other four plants are growing well.

Blueray great others slow starters
Bought four years ago. We love the Blue-ray. Have produced large sweet berries for three years all summer long. The other tw varieties have not done near as well. Two died over last two winters. Replaced with Blueray and Chandler. The ones that have lived are producing for the first time this year but still smaller than Blueray.
