Why did you choose this?

I live in NC

The O'neil 4" pot I recently bought/planted is already producing sweet blueberries!

Jubilee -- Long-lasting berries from a compact bush. Consistent producer of premium, powder-blue berries each year. White, bell-shaped blossoms appear in spring. Colorful fall foliage has a…

I just moved to NC and this is one of the more popular blueberries in this area

Di I need to mulch in the winter the southern high blueberry bush? I live in NC zone 7B

There can be some pretty severe cold snaps in 7B. It never hurts to mulch ... better safe than sorry.

Should I grow these berrys in pots ?

You can grow these in pots, but you will have to adjust pot size over time. And depending on where you live, you will have to worry about the roots freezing in winter. That can be fixed by burying the pots during winter. One upside to growing in pots is it's easier to keep the soil ph where it needs to be

Will both plants bear fruit each year that are contained in the #135222 Blue Berry package?

Yes, both varieties produce annually. The only thing that might create biennial bearing is a lack of thinning on the grower's part. Please make sure you thin 50 to 75% of the fruit load from the bush to keep it growing to maturity and producing good-sized berries.

I'm new to this, You call this a High Bush plant collection. How many plants are included in the order?

Thank you for your question. The 4-plant Highbush Blueberry Collection contains four small-gallon plants: 2 each of O'Neal and Jubilee. The 2-plant collection includes one each of O'Neal and Jubilee. Depending upon your zip code, shipping may be restricted on blueberry plants.

looking for bluberry plants for 10A?

I live in 9b and purchased these and they are doing well. My only challenge is keeping soil ph low.

Growth size?

When your plant matures, it will be approximately 4 - 6' tall x 4 - 6' wide.

Best Zone 9 low light blueberry?

No blueberry will grow in low light; they need full sun produce. If you can get them in a sunny spot, Sunshine, Jubilee and Misty are all good warm-weather blueberries.

I live in zone 7B and want a long growing season what 3 specs do you recommend to accomplish this? thanks-jb

Southern Blueberry Clooecriom
The plants are doing ok. They seem to struggle due to the clay we have in Oklahoma. They are in their 2nd year and have produced minimal, which is expected. I’m going to replace all ground cover from pine mulch to pine needles. I think the acid will improve the soil dramatically. I hope do. If asked next year to write a review I’ll have new information. Bottom line, Stark Bros., is great and have been purchasing trees and bushes for over 30 years with no complaints.

This plant is doing great and actually has berries on it this year, it's first full year in the ground. They were planted fall of 2015. I could not be happier!

Southern Highbush Blueberry plants in my NC garden
I planted the bushes almost 2 years ago and all are doing well. Here we give blueberries 2 years to establish a good root system before we let the plants bear fruit. So I am looking forward to some mighty nice berries next summer.

Southern Highbush Blueberry Plant Collection
My blueberries just completed their second year this spring and they are doing well. I had a few berries last year but this year the plants have a lot more berries. I am very happy with all my purchases from the Stark Brothers and recommend them to everyone.

Thriving
So far, so good. The weather has warmed so they are starting to leaf out. They look healthy. However, in the Phoenix area I have planted them in a very large pot and non-native soil since the soil here is alkaline. I'm looking forward to seeing a harvest.

Blueberry
After I purchased and planted these, we were caught up in a severe drought. They did fine until the water was basically rationed and I couldn’t water them anymore and they withered and died. I couldn't really rate them.
