Description

A ‘Happy Giant’ strain with excellent flavor. Easy-care, no pruning ever! Sweet berries with a bit of tartness are crescent-shaped and pretty in salads, dried for trail mix or made into uniquely delicious jam or jelly. Contains very high levels of anthocyanins, which have documented anti-inflammatory benefits. As with all honeyberries, after 10 years of fruiting, cut back the central woody stems to about 1-1/2’ off the ground to rejuvenate the plant. Ripens mid-June to mid-July. Best pollinators: Blue Moose or Blue Palm. Zones 2-8 and Zone 9 in California.

I have room for one more honeyberry plant. The Blue Moose that I already have will pollinate the Blue Diamond well. I have a lot of honeyberry plants. I love them.

Would buy again...
It is only a few weeks old and it has grown almost a foot. I purchased other honeyberry varieties but these seem to love their new home.
