Description

An improved, low-maintenance Russian honeyberry. No annual pruning! April blooms lead to big 1” elongated berries that grow in clusters, and are a nice balance of tart-sweet, leaning toward sweet. Plants are vigorous with dense branching, meaning lots of fruit: about 8 pounds’ worth at maturity. Use fresh, or dehydrate for super-healthy kids’ snacks. Keep plants evenly moist, as the root system is shallow. Mature size: 5’ tall and wide. Ripens mid-June to mid-July.

For this specimen to produce, it’ll need a different honeyberry plant that blooms around the same time to pollinate it.
