New Product!

The Petite Knock Out® is a dwarf version of the original Red Knock Out® rose. The season-long blooms are as fragrant as the full-size roses, making the Petite Knock Out® rose a great addition to your cottage garden! May be covered by USPP #30,811 or other patents. This patented variety is sold under license from the patent owner. Meibenbino cultivar

This small ornamental is easy to care for and disease resistant, much like the rest of the Knock Out® rose family. Plant in full sun for best results.

Can the new petite version of Knock out rose be grown indoors as houseplant? I recently moved to apartment and have no yard.
William Preston on Jan 27, 2021
BEST ANSWER: You definitely could do that, but you would need to give it 8+ hours of sunlight, a hardship indoors, but necessary if you want blooms. unfortunately, the sunny window likely won't cut it, except maybe on the south side of the house. You also would need to put it outside in winter for it to get the required chill hours, and that too could be hard in an apartment. So, in summary, is it possible, yes; practical, no.
I plan to plant in a container, should I wait to
Plant for a few weeks before planting? I live in the St Louis area.

Hi , what's the size of the plant at shipping and the gallon size?
stephanie g on Dec 9, 2020
BEST ANSWER: This variety is not offered in a gallon size only in the 4inch pot at this time. These are small young plants at shipping and will be estimated to ship at around 4 inches and will mature to 18 inches.
Are these annuals or perennials?
Anna Maria on Jan 30, 2021
BEST ANSWER: We appreciate you reaching out to us. One of the most low-maintenance perennials, they require little care for such aesthetic beauty. Knock Out rose bushes withstand sun and heat, and if cut back after the initial bloom, will flower several times per season for prolonged enjoyment.

If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. Have a great day!

Will the 4??? grow to 18??? the first year?
Don B on Jan 10, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your inquiry. It is hard to say for sure how much growth it will put on in 1 season as this will depend on soil and your climate but typically roses establish and grow quickly given all growing conditions are ideal for this variety.
Sorry ,I thought of another question. Shipping is 3 to 4 months out , if I buy now when will I be charged for the purchase ? and its says that the plants are shipped out when it's a good time to plant , so if I order in March would I receive them in a timely manner or would it still be another 3 to 4 months out?
stephanie g on Dec 9, 2020
BEST ANSWER: We do charge within 24 hours of placing your order. If you would rather not have your order on file and wait until March to place it then you may do so but shipping is determined by the best possible planting time to ensure a successful transplant. To the right of the item is an ETA so when placing your order this is given and we strive to ship as close to that date as possible. Yes if you are placing your order now in winter these items are still growing and have a longer ETA, however in the spring most are ready for shipping within a few days of your order being placed.
Hi, I'm looking for a red rose (preferably the miniature Knock-out) that doesn't turn raspberry. I want the background to be orange-ish. Would the Petite Red Knock-out be what I am looking for?
