Dandee Red® Apple Tree
Description
An early apple with snap. Grower-friendly trees ripen a full 40 days before Red Delicious, are moderately vigorous and very hardy. Large, round, somewhat flattened fruit is shiny red-red with a pleasantly tart, crisp, firm flesh, unlike many early-ripening varieties. Won’t brown when cut. Stores up to 3 months — far longer than other early comers — and keeps its desirable crisp quality. Ripens in early August. Pollinator required: Choose another apple variety. See recommended pollinators below. ‘PV-1027’ cultivar.
