Easy to Grow! A Stark Pick

Change your perception of what “delicious” really means. In 1914, Paul Stark Sr. introduced an apple with an outstanding flavor that was sweet and juicy with a hint of spice. This highly productive tree bears the sensational fruit that, when picked at its peak, is better than what you find in supermarkets. An instant favorite for pies, salads, and your taste buds. Discovered by Anderson Mullins in West Virginia. Cold-hardy and heat-tolerant. One of the most dependable pollinators for other varieties. Ripens in late September. Self-pollinating.

My twigs are now trees!
We purchased two new trees (that arrived looking like twigs!) and they are both thriving and going well. When buying , the website automatically notified us that we had to get two trees (to pollinate) so that was helpful to this novice gardener. Still too young for fruit but my trees are healthy. Would certainly buy from Starkbros again.

Very pleased with this tree
This tree came in wonderful shape. And over 3 ft. tall. I was surprised it was such a healthy looking tree for 18.00. About 2 in. of the tip stuck thru the top of the box and had broken. But still attached. I didn't cut it off, and a sprout started growing from the middle of the broken area. Now I have 2 branches growing at the top.

Wonderful apple trees and doing great!
I was skeptical about ordering trees online again. I had ordered trees in the past from different vendors and didn't have good luck or they came dead. I am very happy about the 2 Golden Apples trees I got! They were packaged well, showed no signs of distress from shipping and no damage. They did not take long to take off and are doing amazing! I would definitely order again.

Golden Delicious Apple Tree from Stark Bros
I planted my Golden Delicious apple tree in early April and today 7/19/25 it is doing great. Lots of branches and leaves. I do recommend you read the book "Grow a Little Fruit Tree" by Ann Ralph before you purchase your tree.

First time apple trees
I purchased these. It was my first time purchasing new apple trees. They showed up beautifully pruned super healthy. Really great root system. I got them in the ground and they've been driving all spring and currently into summer they look great!
