Stark® UltraGold™ Apple Tree
Description
A Golden Delicious strain with russet-resistance. Stark® UltraGold™ is a product of our own test orchard in Missouri, and is a proven winner. The large, slightly conical fruit has a smooth, glossy skin and notes of sweet, spicy-honey flavor — quite similar to Golden Delicious. It is a late bloomer and therefore less susceptible to bud kill. The fruit has a longer storage life (up to 3 months) than Golden Delicious, and is less prone to shriveling. Excellent for fresh eating, cooking, baking and juice, a fine all-purpose apple. Ripens in late September into early October. Pollinator required: Choose another apple variety. See Recommended Pollinators below.
