Be sure to consider Deer damage when growing young fruit trees :(
This tree arrived in very good condition. It has grown well all summer.
Unfortunately, last week the deer ate it. Totally my fault. My deer barrier was inadequate.
We have a small family orchard of about 50 trees. Many of the trees in this orchard are from Starks and we have always had very good pants from them.

Doing great so far!
Doing great so far! I am hopeful that this tree continues to grow as well as it has so far! The tree got attacked by Japanese Beatles, but we got control of them after a few days and it has survived well!

Strong tree.
This variety is a champ! I unfortunately planted them in poor soil by mistake, but they are doing well. I had some pests get on them and they ate all the leaves almost overnight. After getting rid of the pests, the tree grew new leaves within a week, it was amazing to see.
