Wisteria plant. In the mountains of Pa.
Great growing plant. I was worried that it would freeze on my metal fence that I have it climbing but it has been perfectly fine. zone five.

Fast grower
I purchased this as a gift for my mother and it was only about four inches tall when it arrived in the mail. After 7 months it is now over six feet tall. Looking forward to seeing it flower next season.

Arrived in good shape. They struggled for a few weeks while
getting acclimated to the heat. Now they are growing great
and looking very healthy.

beautiful vine
We planted one of these vines last year and it is gorgeous. We have added another one to the other side of the arbor this year. While the blooms are not as large as the oriental wisteria that you see, it is still lovely and not nearly as aggressive or invasive. Plus it has the advantage of being a native North American species.

beautiful blooms
This is the second year that I have had this Wisteria Falls planted, the blooms are beautiful and both plants are doing great. I have them planted on each side of a trellis and can't wait for them to meet in the middle, I know it is going to be breath taking.

Beautiful springtime vine!
Zone 7 Winter-hardy, this wisteria is native to North America, and thus non-invasive, but provides beautiful springtime purple blossoms. I am thoroughly enjoying this plant.

Slow but there
I was expecting a lot more growth in the first year. We bought two plants, but neither got more than one foot high, and we were hoping to train it along our backyard fence. We thought they were dead, but they both popped up this year and have been climbing on the fence somewhat. Fingers crossed!

It dead
Plant was not secured in packaging and arrived wilted and dried out since the potting soil had emptied into the box. Attempts to revive it have not been successful. It sprouted one new leaf that has since died. Would not buy again.

Disappeared into the yard never to be seen again. Husband claims he planted it, maybe he didn't? Seems unfair to rate this low if there was foul play. For now I say beware.
