Worth the money
Works wonderful as long as you are slow and steady. For a few at a time it's well worth the money.

Works with tart cherries!
Reliable for small tart cherries. I'm in Minneapolis, where we can't grow sweet cherries. The tart cherries are smaller and juicier-- and harder to pit. This pitter made it possible for me to start making cherry jam about 9 years ago. A pit does still sneak through occasionally with these small cherries, but it's worlds better than with the other methods I've tried.

What a time saver! Need to take your time, though - sometimes a cherry slips by; and you will get a pit.

Works great! Has pitted a lot of cherries so far. Only had a few stones get passed the plunger
but cherry pies should have at least one stone in the homemade pie
you just eat with a bit of caution!

Cherry pitter
I used my cherry pitter to process around 80 lbs of bing cherries. It only missed a few pits but it works very well in my opinion

Great Pitter
Love this pitter.....once I got the hang of it ! A) Use left hand fingers to shuffle/ feed the next cherry as a cherry bumping up to the pitted cherry may offer just enough resistance so the rod pulls out of the pitted cherry instead of lifting it up against the roof and completing the extraction/ ejection process. B) The pitting stroke is done in two movements, lightly pressing the rod to contact and penetrate the skin up to the pit, then a quick push and release to accomplish the ejection of the pitted fruit out and into the bowl. As long as the cherry, big or small, centers itself under the rod, it will be a clean pitting. I can now pit 30-35 cherries without a "miss fire"

Loved it!!! Worked so good. Beats the hours of standing and doing each one by hand. I recommended to neighbors and family!!!! Thanks so much

It looks convenient
A lot of cherries and tired of hand pitting
I don't have one, and will need it for all those cherries!
