Protect your trees through winter. Winterizing is an easy way to help prevent winter injury to young trees. This money-saving kit makes the job even easier by providing the basics you need. We’ve included a Stark® Tree Guard that helps reduce splits and cracks in the tree’s trunk caused by winter sun. You’ll get natural pest prevention in the form of a horticultural dormant oil spray concentrate (derived from mineral oil), which helps control overwintering pests and their eggs. You’ll also receive a durable pair of bypass pruners with a 3/4-inch cutting capacity so you can provide low-stress pruning while the tree is dormant. Mulch is not included, but still highly recommended for winter protection. Tree available separately. Product color may vary.
