Excellent, sturdy fruit picker
While this fruit picker won't reach the tops of mature fruit trees it does a great job getting a lot of high riding fruit. Also has room for several, in my case, apples so you can be more efficient. Overall, a very sturdy product.

As a short person, this makes it easy to pick fruit high in the trees. Even semi-dwarf trees have fruit too high for me to reach, and this is much safer than a ladder.

Gravenstein apple tree doing great. Very healthy. Arrived safely, is growing well with not a lot of water, and looking promising for next year.

I bought two of these a few years ago. They work great. However, when picking small ripe sugar pears, the little grab brackets can tear into the body of pears causing damage to the fruit. I am covering those metal ends with tape or something soft to prevent this problem. Not a problem with apples. Price has gone up over the years. Mine did not come with the handle, used an old broom handle.

Worked great. We were having problems finding someone to pick pears from a large tree but this helped up pick all but about a dozen by ourselves. Only negative was the price seemed pretty pricey for such a simple tool. Hope it and the tree last several years to offset cost. Just couldn't let the huge crop of pears go to waste.

I LOVE this tool. Having an orchard of fruit trees, the Fruit picker is a must. It is balanced enough to reach the highest apple with ease reaching exactly where you need it too.

My husband was thrilled to get this for Christmas
Thanks for the timely delivery. Much appreciated! It will be a while before we can use it though... No fruit till summer.
