I was looking for Cavendish Strawberries but did not find them, these sound like a suitable replacement, plus with my location in the sandy soils of Delaware the Red Stele resistance was an eye catcher.

do potted strawberries produce first year?
Tom B on Feb 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If you had planted them last fall, they would, but strawberries planted this spring will not produce until next year. You should pinch off any flowers to force the plants' energy back into producing the first crop.
what distance apart in the row and did they runner good???
Dale R on Jul 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi Dale. I planted them about 3 feet apart and rows about 6 feet. They send out an incredible number of runners. Last year I pinched off all of them as well as the flowers. This year - 2nd year the plants are much larger. The runners will even work their way through mulch. Very tasty berries. I learned to mulch very early as I did it as the plants were flowering and the berries rotted underneath as they grew.
are the Cabots a late June or a July bearing berry?
Robert C on Feb 15, 2021
BEST ANSWER: We appreciate you reaching out to us. These are a June bearing variety.

If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. Have a great day!
How long can I keep berry plants in frig if they arrive week of 3/7? Won't plant until sometime in April. Want to get my order in early before they are all gone (Cabot plants).
Jane L on Feb 12, 2021
BEST ANSWER: You can delay planting for up to two or three weeks if you are able to keep the roots from drying out. However, in cases where the delayed period is longer than a week, you should consider applying additional damp paper to bare-root tree roots to provide sufficient enough moisture for longer storage. If you would like us to ship your order at a different time, please contact our Customer Support Team at 800.325.4180. We would be glad to help you arrange what suits you and your growing zone best.
Is $17.99 for 25 plants?
Roger C on Dec 29, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes our bareroot bundles come in packages of 25.

Cabot Strawberries: Vigorous, very large and excellent taste
Cabot Strawberries are the best we have grown. The plant has vigorous growth. The berries are very large with excellent taste. We have grown EarliGlo, Tribute and Ozark Beauty, not to mention the duds we naively purchased from our local nursery. That makes five varieties in all, counting the Cabot Strawberry.

These strawberries are fabulous. They are big and have an excellent flavor. They hold up in the fridge for a few days. Best strawberries I've ever planted!

Big Strawberries
I love this variety. This is a very big strawberry! Consistently the size of a golf ball. My only minor complaint is that it is not as sweet (flavor) as my smaller varieties. All my neighbors freak out when they see how big they are.

Cabot Strawberry
Planted in 2015. Today we begin picking our first strawberries. Plants are hearty and are producing a lot of very large berries. We are extremely pleased with our purchase!

Best strawberry I've grown
Large, sweet berries and healthy plants. Arrived on time, planted late last spring and huge berries this year. If only the berries could pick-off chipmunks as they come to raid my crop!

Nice product
I found this product to be nice and healthy and received nice large berries, although not as many as I have received from other of your plants. I plan to replace many of my other plants that I have had for several years, and may try some of this variety in the replacement.
