Double Play Strawberry Plant Collection

This item is out of stock.

Supplies are limited so make sure you don't miss out next time by having us automatically notify you when it becomes available again.

The best of the best. These two varieties draw raves from strawberry growers for their prolific harvests of great-tasting fruit — so superior to grocery-store strawberries. Pinch off the runner “babies” every 2-3 years and plant them to keep the production going strong. While all strawberries are self-pollinating, the presence of a different variety nearby will give you an abundance of flowers and berries from each plant. Plus, you’ll get a discounted price when purchasing a collection.

Lots of cold hardy plants in this collection. They will work as both strawberry plants for garden beds & as ground cover in turf areas.

We've only grown Junebearing plants previously and have too often been inundated with too many berries all at once. On the other hand, later in the summer it's nice to have a fresh strawberry, so ... plant some everbearers!

Great affordable price for the amount of quality everbearing strawberries! Raving reviews on the Ozark and the tribute is a bonus.

I needed to refresh my strawberry bed, and liked the idea of having June and ever-bearing plants. This way I can spread harvest out across the summer, while also have enough in June to freeze and preserve.

Ordered similar in 2008, and plants performed well through 2015. Finally petered out last year, so replanting bed asap this spring.

Hope Springs Eternal
I planted this collection last year and as instructed pulled off all blossoms to encourage root growth. Over the winter, I lost five plants in spite of covering them with straw. The survivors all look good and at this time are full of blossoms and immature berries. I have high hopes for a reasonable harvest.

Super yield and taste
We planted these plants this year. The June bearing plants gave us a quart of berries a week for 4 weeks. In July and now August the ever bearing plants are doing the same. Lots of growth and runners to fill in the rows. Next year will be double I'm sure. Very happy.

Fantastic Berries!
Very hardy - planted in 2016, lived through a tough winter, and new runners through the year doubled the number of plants. Additionally, they started producing early and are extremely delicious berries!!! They are perfect!

Great combination of 2 proven Strawberry varieties
Plants came quickly and roots were robust. I had help from a first time gardener planting in a 3- tiered system I made. Within 30 days we had flowers which I removed. Now 3 weeks I've let a few flowers remain and my new gardener is so excited. Thank you for helping make memories with quality plants.
