Extended production. Adding Ever bearing to June bearing extends crop and reduces work load trying to preserve and harvest June bearing only crop.

These guys are taking off like weeds. In a year I filled a 5x25ft bed. The second year I filled a second. We can't keep up with the production, but that's a good thing. It's a great way to bring friends over to help out.

I bought this because I was wanting an edible cover crop to plant around the base of my black raspberry patch. Strawberries and black raspberries overlap in soil ph.

will these bear fruit the first?
Matthew P on Mar 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I got some fruit the first year but not much. The second year I got an abundance!

Do the strawberries do well in containers? I have limited space.
Carole S on Jul 18, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes they do, I use mini planters for strawberries and tomatoes with great success
will these bear fruit the first year?
Matthew P on Mar 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You really shouldn't allow the blooms to flower the first year. I plucked all flowers and then allowed the to get very established. Also, remove all babies the first year.
We received our strawberries and the acclimation process tell us to out them outside in the pots they came in. However, ours seemed to arrive as one clump. How should we proceed?
Kristen K on Apr 24, 2020
BEST ANSWER: It sounds like you have gotten bare root vs potted plants. Go ahead and find a place outside to make a trench and heel them in if not immediately ready to plant. You can dig them up and relocate when you get your permanent beds ready
What plants are in this group?
Linda J on Oct 20, 2019

Fantastic Price and very good plant survival rate
I am very pleased with the purchase from Stark, I actually did not have time to plant the strawberries right away so they literally sat in the packaging for 6 days at my house before I could get them in the ground. Very bad Idea to do this, however the survival rate was unbelievable. I had over 85% of the plants that still survived and this is the second season only and last night, I filled a entire 1 gallon ice cream pail with perfect and delicious strawberries.

If the star rating is 1-5 with 5 being the highest, Stark gets a 6 from me : )

These strawberries grow and multiply. I started with about 75, I have thousands now after one year. This harvest we started picking strawberries in early May (Zone 7), we intend on picking all the way until September. These strawberries are truly incredible!

Love my berries!
I purchased the strawberry shortcake collection last summer.I planted them right away and they took right off. Strong vigorous plants! And by fall we were eating strawberrys! I will only ever buy my plants from Starks!

Good selection
Although about 3/4 of the plants failed, Stark Brothers happily replaced them for me and they are doing very well this year. We got just a few berries to try from them (most blossoms we picked so that the plants could concentrate on establishing themselves) and they are delicious.
