BlackPearl® Sweet Cherry Tree
Description
Flavor, crunch, and more flavor! This is the earliest ripening of the famed “Pearl” sweet cherry series from Cornell University — prepare for a big harvest, because this vigorous, upright tree is a big producer. The high-quality, elegant fruit has exceptional firmness, a distinguishable snap and 20% sugar, which pulls up the deep cherry flavor. Rich in antioxidants, this is a wonderful fresh-eating cherry. Stores very well and is crack- and canker-resistant, and also heat-tolerant. Ripens in June. Pollinator required: Choose another early blooming sweet cherry variety. See recommended pollinators below. NY 8139 cultivar.
