Saturn Gold® Peach Tree
Description
A new mid-early peach with the Midas touch. Everything you love about Saturn peaches: the unique saucer-shape and very fine, sweet, mildly acidic taste — but the firm flesh of Saturn Gold® is yellow, with a blended blush, instead of white. The flavor is near-perfect in its balance of sweetness and acidity, and the medium-large fruit is stunning on the tree. Developed at the University of Arkansas, this variety is strong and healthy, showing good resistance to bacterial spot. Ripens in July. Semi-freestone. Self-pollinating. May be covered by USPP #33,973 or other patents.
