Starfire® Peach Tree
Description
A grower-friendly tree that’s a prodigious bearer! The high-quality fruit (and lots of it) has an excellent flavor and keeps well. Starfire® peaches are colored 80% red over a yellow background, with non-browning, golden-yellow flesh. A choice sweet dessert peach for baking, canning and freezing. Tree is very hardy, and exhibit good resistance to bacterial spot and canker. Freestone. Ripens in early August. Self-pollinating, but yields bigger crops when planted near a different peach variety with a similar bloom time. FA-11 cultivar.
