Petite Knock Out® Rose
Description
The Petite Knock Out® is a dwarf version of the original Red Knock Out® rose. It has the same bright fire engine red flower color and re-blooms like the original but grows to only 18" tall, making it the perfect rose for containers, patios, or as a mass planting in front of larger foundation plants. The season-long blooms are as fragrant as the full-size roses, making the Petite Knock Out® rose a great addition to your cottage garden! May be covered by USPP #30,811 or other patents. This patented variety is sold under license from the patent owner. Meibenbino cultivar
This small ornamental is easy to care for and disease resistant, much like the rest of the Knock Out® rose family. Plant in full sun for best results.

Questions & Answers
You definitely could do that, but you would need to give it 8+ hours of sunlight, a hardship indoors, but necessary if you want blooms. unfortunately, the sunny window likely won't cut it, except maybe on the south side of the house. You also would need to put it outside in winter for it to get the required chill hours, and that too could be hard in an apartment. So, in summary, is it possible, yes; practical, no.
This variety is not offered in a gallon size only in the 4inch pot at this time. These are small young plants at shipping and will be estimated to ship at around 4 inches and will mature to 18 inches.
Plant for a few weeks before planting? I live in the St Louis area.
You can grow almost anything in a container! This excellent article will answer your questions and provide good advice. Please see "Growing Fruit Trees in Containers" //www.starkbros.com/growing-guide/article/fruit-trees-in-containers-pt1
We appreciate you reaching out to us. One of the most low-maintenance perennials, they require little care for such aesthetic beauty. Knock Out rose bushes withstand sun and heat, and if cut back after the initial bloom, will flower several times per season for prolonged enjoyment.

I live in zone 6a in Ohio. I planted it in a big pot. After first frost, I keep it in the unconditioned garage in a dark place (no draft, no heat) and just water when the soil dries off fully (once in a month). I bring it out after last frost around spring. It has survived 2 winters that way. I spray a lot throughout summer. It easily gets Aphids and another bug that eats up all leaves.
I planted mine outside. They need lots of sunshine. They are full of blooms all summer. I think they would be good inside as long as you have a sunny place. Enjoy them and all their flowers
I've had my mini roses for over 3 yrs, and tho deer and rabbits go crazy in my yard - despite my fences, neither animal has damaged any of my 6 bushes. The miniature roses have been hardy. I would not recommend them for hot, highly sunny areas. I did lose one bush which was planted at a sidewalk&driveway intersection. Between all day sun and radiation off the concrete, even frequent watering didn't save it. So far I've been very happy with my roses!
This is a miniature knockout rose. It is much smaller than the standard size knockout rose which in my garden has gotten to 6 feet tall and wide. I have about 20 of the petite knockout rose in my yard and the size stated above of 18 inches by 18 inches accurately reflects the size of the rose in my garden. Just as an aside, those tiny miniature roses you see in the grocery store will grow to be a very large size if planted outside. In those plants, only the flower is miniature, not the plant.
Yes. I gave one to my neighbor who planted it in his west facing garden. He barely takes care of his plants. It is very hot. I live in 7b zone . Northeast (NYC). The rose is doing well with his minimal care. Very nice rose. This rose Blooms well and is no taller than 18 ins. I own one also.
your question makes no sense. If this rose is grafted do not plant it below the graft, most of the time plant it as deep as it was in the pot
Customer Reviews
I purchased two for myself, and one for a gift.
After I planted, my two in planters, a visiting dog, pulled them up and out, roughed them up. I rescued them, replanted, away from doggies, and now, you would never know, they were mauled.
I love the smaller rose bushes and I love red roses.
They look beautiful and is my first go at this type of roses.
needed something for a patio planter-it has nice color
I am a rose lover! I have not had this variety before. I want to try it out and see how it does in my rose garden.
