Description

Large, golden-yellow berries with the same deliciously sweet taste of a red raspberry. This upright everbearing variety is extremely hardy and vigorous - produces two crops on each cane: a small crop in late spring to early summer followed by a heavy crop in late summer to fall. Self pollinating.

Note: Do not plant Red, Gold or Purple raspberries within 75-100 feet of Black raspberries. Black raspberries may be more susceptible to viral diseases carried by aphids to and from nearby raspberry plants.

Size & Spacing

Mature Size

When your plant matures, it will be approximately 4 - 5' tall x 3 - 4' wide.

Recommended Spacing

We recommend spacing these plants 3 - 4' apart to ensure room for growth.

Pollination

This variety is self pollinating.

In many cases, you may still want to plant pollinating partners to increase the size of your crops, but with self-pollinating varieties doing so is optional. You'll get fruit with only one plant!

tasty and hardy
I love this variety. Excellent producer and hardy. Sweet, but does have that great raspberry tangy taste. The berries do not crumble easily, so they're great for whole-fruit presentation. Makes delightful jelly which is very flavorful and has a glow like the summer sun. Fruits all summer long for me. Make sure that the soil is ideal and these beauties will reward you with bounty.
